Recommended images

Users of this site can recommend images on other sites. This site will then offer a reference to the recommended image. We attempt to prevent linking to images that infringe copyrights by requiring the user to enter the (presumed) licensing of the image. Information on how to recognize images that possibly infringe copyrights, is provided on the form to recommend images, with the question about its licensing. If a user indicates that an image he or she recommends may infringe copyrights on the site where it resides, AnatomicalTerms.info will not show a reference to it.
Thumbnails and previews of the images are shown to offer the user a judgment of the image's usefulness for the user's needs, and to allow indicating the location of structures/concepts on the image. A reference to the site that holds the image is shown with the image to clarify that the image belongs to that site.
If, despite these measures, you feel that a reference infringes on your copyright, please contact us (see contact information) to request removal of the reference.
